Email marketing works

As we can see in this article e-Mailing : les bonnes recettes de Voyages-Sncf (in French), email marketing can really work. With a database of 6 million and segmented content for each target group (20 different versions of the newsletters) Voyages Sncf gets stunning results:
- 38% open rate
- Unsubscription rate of something between 0,3 and 0,16%
- great sales results (a pity they don't give results here)
