TV on the Internet versus IPTV

When reading this posting from Cory Doctorow from Boingboing I had to think about the battle that is going on in Belgium between Telenet and Belgacom. Both seem to forget that IPTV is coming and that Microsoft might be playing an important role with their Media Center. If IPTV is cheaper and easier, which seems to be case, both telecom players are in for a serious battle. I'll wait a while before buying any Telenet stocks for the moment.
